Name
14B. From Promise to Adoption: Why Transformations Fail to Deliver Value
Description

Organizations are investing heavily in digital, operational and AI-enabled transformation initiatives to drive greater speed, efficiency, resilience and insight. Yet despite strong strategies, capable technologies and successful pilots, many transformations struggle to achieve enterprise-level impact. The challenge is rarely execution alone - it is the failure to align adoption, governance, accountability and operating models to the business outcomes the transformation was intended to deliver.

This session explores where transformation efforts most commonly break down and introduces a practical framework for connecting strategy to execution and execution to measurable business outcomes. Attendees will learn how leading organizations establish clear value pathways, align investments to enterprise priorities, define credible success metrics upfront and create governance structures that drive adoption at scale. The session will also examine the role of operating model design and value governance - including approaches such as a Strategy Realization Office (SRO) - in creating accountability, sustaining momentum and ensuring expected value is actually captured.
