Giao Carrico is a proven leader with 20+ years of experience, working with executives in creating and executing strategies to achieve dramatic bottom- and top- line benefits. Giao has academic and professional roots in Life Sciences, having started her career as a research fellow at the National Institutes of Health where she did lab research on Pediatric AIDS and co-authored a publication.
Previously, Giao spent almost 15 years at Deloitte Consulting in the Strategy & Operations, Life Sciences practice where she worked extensively with executives to design and execute on transformational programs through digital transformation, operating model optimization, and business process improvements. She also spent time at GSK in Consumer Healthcare where she led the Transformation office, driving enterprise-wide changes across the value chain – R&D, Supply Chain, Sales & Commercial and Support Functions (Finance, HR, IT).

Currently, Giao leads the Consulting Practice Leader for Data, Technology and AI at Genpact where she has successfully built the business and consistently grown the revenue year-over-year through scaled capabilities, new business development and strategic partnerships.

Giao lives in Pittsburgh, PA with her husband, David, two teenagers and rescue pups. She holds a Masters in Public Health and Epidemiology degree from Yale University and a Bachelor degree in Biology from Bryn Mawr College.
